Other points of interest include the Wo Hing Museum which features Chinese artifacts from Hawaii’s first immigrants who settled in Lahaina during the mid-1800s; Pu’u Keka’a (Black Rock), a lava formation jutting out into the sea that pays homage to an ancient legend; and Puu Olai (Red Hill), another volcanic formation renowned for its picturesque views at sunset. 

No visit would be complete without taking part in one of Kaanapali’s famous luaus. These special shows involve traditional Hawaiian music and hula dancing while guests feast on classic dishes like kalua pork, poi (mashed taro root) served with lomi salmon (salted salmon), and haupia (coconut pudding).
